How to make Vintage Effect with gimp

1.Go to File/Open as Layer

and get the photo that you have chosen. 

                                                       2. Duplicate the Layer.

3. Go to Colors/ Curves

This is how it looks like.

4.Click on Channel/ Value

5. Click on Blue and move it 

around to give it a blue effect.

Like this.

7. Then go to the Green one

And move it around like

this.

This is how the photo looks like.

8.And the last step click on 

Red and move it around,
